YOUTH CROSSFIT CLASSES

We run fun and energetic fitness sessions for children from 5 years right through to adulthood. We also now offer kids gymnastics classes for ages 18 months through to 7 years.
Each class caters to the specific developmental needs of the children and is progressively
structured in accordance with our Youth Fitness Awards Programme.

KIDS
CROSSFIT KIDS
For children aged 5-12 years old.
A broad, general and inclusive 45 minute session in which children will learn the fundamental movements of CrossFit. With an emphasis on FUN, good movement patterns are taught to the participants which help produce good physical literacy, enhanced sports performance & fewer sporting injuries for kids.
WED 16:30-17:15 (ages 7-12 years)
SAT 08:30-09:15 (ages 5-12 years)
TEENS
CROSSFIT TEENS
For children aged 12-19 years old.
Our teens are taught the fundamental movements of CrossFit. Good consistent mechanics are emphasized before any intensity or load is added. The aim of CrossFit is not to produce the best CrossFit athlete but instead to assist participants in excelling in other activities.

For children from walking to 18 years of age
Children will be awarded for their achievements across 4 main physical areas:
•Body weight (gymnastics)
•Lifting of loads (weightlifting)
•Cardiovascular endurance, and
•Workout competency
As well as character development in five areas - the 5 C's:
Courage, Coachability, Commitment, Communication and Conscientiousness
